I work at a Title I school that serves a population of kiddos who have gone through traumatic events in their short little lives. I want to create the most fitting environment for those students so that they and their peers can successful integrate into the classroom! These sensory-focused items, especially the alternative seating, help students to calm and recenter allowing them to be more present with themselves and during instruction. The aids in self-regulation are really what these kiddos need! Thanks so much for you donation and help to make our classroom a safe, inviting, calm learning environment!
