This year my students have started off with an empty classroom. I have worksheets only to teach from. My students need leisure activities that can be used to teach turn taking, good sportsmanship, and life skills. I have chose a variety of different board games such as Sorry and Uno as well as sports games such as basket ball and football. Some of the games I chose include Monopoly, Sorry, Connect 4, and Uno to teach turn taking, cooperative learning, and leisure life skills. Because of my students sometimes volatile behavior caused from being emotionally disturbed these key life skills are so important to assist them with being good citizens in our community.
