My students with special needs will read grade-level books and create vlogs to promote literacy to their peers. The cameral will be used to create a video log (vlog) and use the monitor to present their work on a large screen for all to behold. We would use the technology to do video oral book-talks, small group reads, or one-pagers with writing and artwork. My students struggle with reading and writing so I want to use a variety of strategies in different learning modalities by which they can demonstrate their understanding. With this technology, my students can find joy in reading and presenting the literature that they're studying.
