I would like to provide my students with flexible seats to increase attention and focus. According to Washington Post “-Angela Hanscom, In order for children to learn, they need to be able to pay attention. In order to pay attention, we need to let them move”. Third graders are energetic kids, they need to move often to increase their school performance and attention. The wobble stools are a great tool in the elementary classroom. By providing tools like these, students will be able to move in their area, and focus in learning. The stools are good for students with attention deficit disorders as well as students who like to wiggle. My students will use the wobble stools in a rotation system to ensure they all have access to them. We will use them during teacher instruction, small group instruction, and independent work. As a teacher, I would love to provide my students with the right tools to learn and work to their full potential. Help me activate my students' minds with wobble stools! Thanks in advance for your generosity.
