Our Physical Science course curriculum requires us to utilize math skills as well. My students never complain about having to use inferior equipment. They make due with what they have. In doing so, we have been getting by with dollar store calculators, but we need to go to the next level! Your support of Calculating a Difference will enhance my students’ learning experience in Physical Science! They will be able to perform more complex math during science labs, such as hot wheels races and speed challenges. They have even suggested an "eating lab" just to calculate the number of calories consumed! As long as it keeps their interest and meets school guidelines, I am happy to incorporate new ideas to hold onto their interest in STEM. Thank you for your support of my classroom!
