This project will fund supplies and materials for our school MakerSpace. This space is utilized by students preK through 5th grade and is not only available for them to use for specific projects, but also is designed to encourage open exploration and creation. The building tools will help students understand elements of physics, architecture, and engineering. The Cricut will allow students to design and print their own graphic images and manufacture items that they want and need. The circuit boards and games introduce coding to students at all ages, and the green screen will encourage film making and media creativity at every grade level. Students of all ages need STEM and MakerSpace materials to be able to create, solve problems, increase their understanding of the world around them, and prepare themselves to be the change makers in the future. By funding this project and helping us purchase these items, students that wouldn't normally have access to these kinds of materials will be able to discover a wealth of knowledge that will support them into their future.
