Personal hygiene products are essential to higher attendance rates and overall success for kids in our district. Aside from looking, smelling and feeling good, the needed items decrease germs and bacteria increasing overall health for the entire school. Children with poor hygiene have lower self esteem, an increased risk of being bullied and a lower desire to attend school. Negligence in personal hygiene also has a direct negative impact on other peers' learning and concentration. With the closing of our United Way warehouse this year and the flu season rapidly approaching, we are eagerly seeking these products for our students in need.
