This past year, one of the projects which we assigned to our students was to create a book, write and perform a spoken word or rap, or create a presentation applying Geometric vocabulary and concepts. These iPads will allow our students to use apps like iMovie and other 21st century apps to showcase their learning by giving them the opportunity to produce movies or presentations or videos more easily. Students will also have the opportunity to become comfortable using different types of technology. Moreover, having iPads will also allow our team to create videos and music for other math department activities on which we collaborate during the year like our Pi Day Celebration during which we have a fair where one of the booths is to write and perform a Pi Day Song.
