When it is time for us to go to the instruments, the students retrieve their instruments from their storage shelves and take them to a designated area of the room where they will practice. When we are done, they must return the instruments to their storage shelf. This teaches them how to carefully handle the instruments and move them around safely. However, some of our instruments are too big for them to move alone. They must work with a friend or, in the case of the Bass Instruments, I have to move them. This trolley (with the adapter) will enable us to safely move the large Bass instruments around the room and the school. This will enable them to be more independent in my class and safer when we move the instruments. Additionally, the trolley elevates the instrument so the students can stand comfortably and play it. Otherwise, they have to bend over or kneel on the floor.
