My students did not believe that I would push them to the edge of their artistic potential. Now they have found the courage and passion to learn and apply their learning into their drawings. We are a united community of future artists. Currently my students have to share portfolios with the people in their tables, sometimes as much as 6 students per group. Having a portfolio of their own will create a sense of uniqueness, respect and value in art. These portfolios will allow students to store their works there without having to share with other students. It has been difficult for students to take supplies out knowing their artwork might sometimes become messy due to the charcoal students have been using. I am very positive that students will appreciate that they have their own portfolio that they have to take care of and essentially learn how to carry a portfolio like true artists!
