Our school tries to encourage students to live the values of leadership, integrity, gratitude, humility, and thoughtfulness every day. We are trying to create a culture driven by the principle that working hard and being nice will take our students the furthest in life. However, these students have just made the transition to middle school and are experiencing issues with bullying. The students are 5th and 6th graders at a college preparatory school in the Third Ward community of inner-city Houston. We have been conducting a bullying unit to show the students the long term effects of bullying and would love to cap this unit by taking them to see the movie "Bully"! We believe that every student deserves to feel safe and be respected at their school. Please help us to build a positive and welcoming culture!
