Having these iPads in our classroom will allow my students to take their learning to the next level. By interacting with technology, my students will be more prepared to navigate both their work in the classroom as well as their world outside of school. Access to online learning resources such as research, e-books, and educational apps are an integral piece of any elementary class. More specifically, having iPads in the classroom will allow me to facilitate Nearpod presentations that make the lessons more engaging. Through the interactive technology of Nearpod, my students would have the chance to explore the world through Virtual Reality lessons and 3D objects. I would also be able to better assess student understanding and differentiate instruction in real time through students' independent responses to target their specific needs. An Apple iPad offers a wide variety of uses for my fourth grade students that will motivate them and enhance their learning. Putting the latest technology into the palms of their hands will not only help them learn, but will better prepare them for the future.
