In addition, motivational quotes and encouraging statements promote a growth-mindset learning environment for students that lack self-esteem, confidence, or external support. “Signs, signs, everywhere are signs. Man can’t you read the signs?!” A famous song lyric reminds us the significance signs play in our lives. Not only do they attract our attention and focus but they also input information into our brains on a consistent basis. My students need positive and educational material to read on my classroom walls. Today’s generation is extremely visual oriented and require constant changing environments to maintain their engagement. I am requesting a Cricut machine & supplies to make letters and clipart figures that I will mount on poster boards for my classroom. The Cricut machine will save money (and time) helping me to create posters, banners, and signs. The mat and cutting kit are also needed to make the new classroom anchor charts.
