I am lucky enough to get the opportunity to teach 8th grade math this year. Fortunately, each student will receive an iPad to use throughout the day, but unfortunately, I do not have a working projector in my classroom so students will not be able to follow along with me on a larger scale. Receiving a projector will allow my students to actively use their iPads each day in class and maximize their learning experience by being able to watch what I am doing on the board and then completing the rest of the assignment on their own. I also believe that by having the students create their own interactive math notebooks with basic materials such as tape and card stock, the students will have an awesome, hands-on, resources to use each day to optimize their learning experience.
