My scholars are brilliant, wonderful, curious children from a high poverty area in East Harlem. Many of my scholars are English Language Learners and benefit from hands on, interactive experiences to enhance their learning. Last year, 85% left my classroom reading on or above grade level. These amazing students not only exceed academic expectations but also deserve the opportunity to express their artistic, scientific, or engineering sides by providing a time to be more creative in Kindergarten.

About my class
