After learning about color theory and how certain colors influence viewers to feel specific emotions attached to those colors, the students will be painting large scale propaganda posters using specific color schemes that will help to influence the viewers of their propaganda posters. My students are learning about the history of propaganda, how color influences viewers, and then creating propaganda posters about issues that are relevant to them personally. Because the students are using individually specific color schemes, it will be very beneficial for the students to be able to keep their mixed paint from day to day. Each student having their own covered paint pallet will ensure that their paint can be saved for the following days.
