Materials requested for this project such as markers, pencils, and glue are selected specifically to create resources for our classroom Maker Space. Students thrive on hands on learning, having an idea, and then executing that idea to make it alive. We are collecting recyclable items and researching how to reuse them as a primary objective for our Maker Space. The Maker Space is used during the hands-on learning station during our classes' Math Workshop time. LEGOS have been added to the wish list as part of our Maker Space's contents because not all students may have the creative inspiration to see something created from recyclables. Looking forward to providing the opportunity for students to make a plan and carry it out making adjustments along the way as needed.
