Shoppers choices: The primary focus at our school is reading and we are in desperate need of leveled readers. Many of our classroom books are old, falling apart, or just uninteresting. In the last three years, I’ve used Reading A-Z books for independent reading but I’ve noticed most students are more engaged when the books are in color. I’ve also added snacks because this is an expensive out of pocket item when purchasing for an entire class (weekly). As well, many students are not always a fan of the cafeteria food and it’s sad when I don’t have anything to give them when hungry. Cleaning and classroom supplies are also needed to keep the germs away and our room smelling fresh. This donation of food and supplies would definitely help me save money this school year. Lastly, the bean bag chairs would be a great addition for students to use while working on Chromebooks instead of resting on the floors.
