We will use the LEGO Mindstorm Robot kits in our new STEAM lab for our STEAM Club, and eventually for the entire school. We will learn not only how to build robots but how to program them as well. By having multiple kits, more kids will be able to participate. These kits will inspire my students by challenging them to develop their ability to follow directions and persevering through difficult tasks. I can only imagine their faces when I tell them we will be building robots. Student engagement increases greatly with any hands on activities and the technology aspect will be met with great excitement. .
