These books will help our classroom library grow! Our classroom library is a place where my students really love to be. Here they can always choose a new story to read, complete classwork, and, of course, spread out with a good book! My students cherish their time spent reading. Each of these books have been chosen with my students in mind. Students will be able to choose books to read at school, and they are allowed to check out books to read at home. With these books, my students will be able to see themselves and their cultures in the stories they read, and they will have a larger opportunity to read books that are appropriate for their grade level. They will also be able to choose books that interest them, which is so vital for their love of reading! Like anything else, the more time a child spends reading the stronger they become as a reader!
