My students struggle with social-emotional learning and have experienced trauma in their young lives. Many of the students at our school are in the foster care system. All of my students love art activities. I have picked items that encourage patience, calmness, and collaboration. I love giving them the opportunity to express themselves creatively. In addition to art supplies, I have carefully chosen items to assist with social/emotional learning. Many of my students struggle with emotional regulation. These items will continue to encourage positivity and happiness in my classroom.
