Although this school year has not begun yet, I have begun setting up my classroom this week. In doing this, I realize that although I do have some books, they are in book bins that are falling apart and not easily accessible. I would like to organize my books by genre since my students are doing a genre study this year. Additionally, I would like for my reading area to be more comfortable by adding in the seats. I want to make my classroom library a place my students want to be. I cannot do this with only the resources I currently have. My students deserve to have a classroom library that is organized in a way to nurture them and develop them as both learners and readers.
