Having various flexible seating options in the classroom will benefit all of my students. Rather than be seated at a traditional desk all day, students can personalize their learning environment by choosing seating options that best fit their learning style. Students will be able to use the lap desks to work on writiting tasks or written work anywhere in the room. The floor seats would also allow my students to work comfortably anywhere in the classroom and can be used with the lap desks. Speaking of comfortable, the calming color bean bag chairs would give my students a peaceful place to develop essential literacy skills as they read or listen to stories in our book nook. Each student is unique and should be given the opportunity to explore how they learn best. These flexible seating options would provide each learner in my class opportunities to explore how they like to learn and how they learn best. Offering a personalized learning environment to my students will continually engage them in meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences throughout the school year.
