Many of my students are used to using some form of device, whether at home, school, or in therapies. I would like to use an IPAD during some of my instruction time. I could use it at a center, during circle time, or even one-on-one with students to address certain skills and needs. There are many educational apps that would really help my students blossom. For example, ABCStar is a free app that teaches tracing by having the students use their finger. This is definitely something I could use daily with my young learners. Using an IPAD in the classroom will not only be good for their fine motor and academic goals, but socially as well. They will learn to share and take turns when using this during center rotations. Circle time will also become more "lively" if Im able to play a song for us to sing along to.
