Should my project be funded, we will be able to install apps onto the Amazon Fire 7 tablets that will provide nonverbal students with the ability to communicate their wants and needs more clearly. The finite silicone cases will keep their devices safe. The small size of this tablet will allow these students to take their devices into the community for use beyond just the classroom walls. The Kensington hifi on ear Headphones as well as the Gemini Djx brand will allow students to access online curriculum via computer without being distracted by other students and computer sounds. Lastly, our sensory items; Yoovi dress boards, flex space wobble cushion, Amplim noise reduction headphones, and liquid motion bubbler will give students additional options for focusing longer and processing their surroundings more clearly. Many students with Autism experience sensory processing issues. Thank you!
