I am currently in the process of creating a class library. My goal is to get my students interested in reading and gaining a passion for it. The class library will give them more confidence in reading and help them with every content area and their performance on standardized tests like the ACT (English, Reading, and Science Sections). I have also given them an incentive to read more by providing extra credit opportunities for each book that they read. Although I teach American History/Government, I am also responsible for helping them with the Reading Section of the ACT. I take both jobs very seriously. The benefits of reading are endless, and I would love for my students to have this opportunity! Thank you!
