I teach a very active group of 1st graders. They want to learn and be engaged but sitting still is not how they learn best. I am excited to offer them the opportunity to move while they work. Being able to move while they are engaged in their work helps them stay focused. It is important for students to have movement during the day to increase the blood flow to the brain, so they do not feel sluggish or disengaged. I have taught with multiple teachers and experienced many different flexible seating options. The wobble stools were the students' and my favorite. I am looking forward to providing my students with a chance to be more successful in my class.
