Integrating technology into the Social Studies classroom is essential in constructing knowledge and keeping students actively engaged. Unfortunately, we do not currently have enough Chromebooks for my students to all have enough access to technology. The ability to conduct research, locate and navigate through internet resources is a skill all students should be exposed to in this day and age. Throughout the year, I incorporate various research projects into my Social Studies curriculum including a History Fair project. My students love to engage in these types of projects but it is always challenging to find the time for them to have access to the internet with our limited resources. These requested two Acer Chromebooks will help to give my students more access to the technology they need to help them be successful in the classroom and beyond. Thank you for your consideration. My students and I greatly appreciate it.
