These materials will benefit my students by providing different centers and games for them to build a concrete understanding in reading comprehension. The items will support different skills enabling them to reach and understand grade level texts. Many of my students struggle with making inferences, identifying the theme or lesson as well as vocabulary. The kits allow students to work independently, with a partner, or in small groups. When students are comfortable in their surroundings they are more likely to maintain engagement. The seating will help my students focus on the tasks as they can maneuver around while sitting instead of walking around the classroom.
