Teaching and learning requires many resources. Some supplies are obvious, others not so much. Manila folders, for example, are used in our class for students to keep track and hold their data, tests, and progress monitoring pages. This helps them track their own progress, which aids in taking responsibility of their own learning. Here is a fact, an engaged student in my class loves their anchor charts on the bright colored paper! It's so much better than a boring white anchor chart with black ink. Students really do care about the novelty of colored paper. There's a tremendous amount of behind the scene supplies that makes a classroom successful. Dreamers in the classroom have to be led, engaged, and inspired. This task becomes much more attainable with the right stuff!
