In my classroom, students are encouraged to ask questions and question everything. As a former scientist, I entered my journey as a teacher with the idea of teaching all sorts of cool content but was instead met with the fact that teaching my students to be scientists would be the most challenging yet valuable thing I could do for them. I am in awe of the ideas my students have, the questions that they ask, and the arguments that they make. Naturally, my students are scientists in every sense of the word. It is my responsibility to help them preserve that gift.
