Most students travel class to class with little opportunity to move around. They spend large portions of their academic experience having to sit still - which is a difficult task for teens and adults! When students are no longer able to sit still in a desk, they spend more time in the hallway instead of learning in class. I'd like to have multiple options in the room for students to remain engaged in the learning process. The bouncy bands will help allow students to move their feet and release energy that would otherwise distract them. The coffee table will give students a space to work while sitting on a futon already located in the classroom. By creating more flexible seating options in the classroom, students will be able to focus more in class and perform better as a result!

About my class
