In second grade students get to experience the magical world of series books as they become readers of chapter books. The Magic Tree House series is a wonderful series filled with adventures and history. Since I only have five books in the series it is always so sad seeing students come to the end of the fifth book wanting to read more but not being able to. This collection will bring much excitement to my students as they embark on a journey with Jack and Annie. I believe that allowing students to read books that they love will get them to remain engaged readers for years to come.

About my class
