Students in my classroom currently use furniture that are either hand-me-downs from the staff conference room or leftover classroom tables that are over 40 years old. Good quality tables that can easily be moved around are necessary for students to have a clean and stable space to collaboratively work with their classmates. On these new tables, students will build, test, and trouble shoot engineering/robotics projects by applying what they have learned to solve real-life problems and develop 21st century skills. These tables will be used by hundreds of students for many years and will leave a lasting impact of student achievement in my classroom.
