Students in grades K-8 will be improving their understanding of sport strategy, team building, cooperation, exercise techniques, and recreational activities throughout year. Part of what I hope my students learn in my classes is the correct way to perform the various types of motor skills and how to incorporate those skills into age-appropriate games/sports and fitness. The goal of PE is to be moving more than 80% of the time. We currently have 17 scooters with class sizes of 24-28 students. I would love to complete the set and have a 1-to-1 ratio to alleviate wait times! PE is a time for students to get moving and the best way for that to happen is for everyone to have the required equipment for play. Having a 1-to-1 ratio of scooters will allow me to give my students the best PE experience possible. I believe these kids deserve that. I would like to give them the same types of positive experiences that I had as a kid, and this equipment will go along way in allowing me to do so. Thank you! Mrs. McBride
