With the colored ink, I will be able to print more visuals that are more visible to the students to support their learning. They will also allow me to print out more activities for my students to practice (i.e. matching folders: letters, numbers, shapes, opposites, etc.). Visuals are essential to my students, as I am teaching a class of almost half the students is diagnosed with Autism. They are more receptive to visuals than to words, and quite frankly, they do show more understanding using a variety of visuals to help them learn. Using colored visuals also decrease some of my students' anxiety, as they are aware of what to come next on a task (first cut, then color, then glue, etc.) and knowing what is the next activity on the schedule.
