Currently we have 10 stands for 30 students. Having three people to a stand is impossible to do and still expect them to have great posture and read their music. Right now they must sacrifice something (posture, horn angle, ability to see music) to play their instrument. Wouldn't it be nice for them to be able just worry about playing the music instead of how to see the music. Stand for instrumentalists are vital in the music making process. Without these stands we will have to continue utilizing students sitting on the floor to be able to read their music.
