My room is set up for my students on the spectrum to have a sensory break throughout the day. The more sensory items I have in my room the more centers I can make in a break so my students are able to meet multiple sensory needs. It is my goal for my students to learn in an environment where they not only feel comfortable but are also to expand their ways of thinking. The light box will be a great addition as well as the sand to sensory play while the chair will be able to fill needs when the child is working at a table. I have flexible seating so it will be a great addition as it will give my kids more choices that would fit their needs better.
