I believe kids need to be able to move! In first grade, it is hard for kids, especially those with attention deficit disorders (ADD) or a specific learning disability to stay focused when they feel the need to move. These wobble chairs are great for kids to move around without disturbing the class. I also believe that having wobble chairs will make the room more welcoming and fun, which is something I definitely feel is important to encourage kids in the dual immersion program. Overall, I believe having flexible seating in our classroom will improve learning and growth for all learners.
