Students, no matter how old, love stamps. I love to use stamps to keep track of coursework and allow students opportunities to gain extra credit points. Students must retain stamped coursework and submit each item for one extra credit point at the end of the grading period. This teaches students to be responsible for their materials and rewards them for it. Without visual representation, its difficult for students to understand the course material. The posters and prepared slides will allow students to actually see the cells and other structures we learn about in class. Many of the topics we discuss are abstract, these materials help students make concrete connections. The technology will allow me to move around the classroom and assist students without having to be glued to the teacher station.
