In today's world, technology is such a critical asset in the classroom. Tablets have so many interactive and engaging apps for kids that would really help in their understanding of the material to prepare for their STAAR exam. Our students desperately want to explore the world but in their low socioeconomic environment, they do not get the opportunity to do so. These kids would get the chance to extend their learning in the science classroom to help them relate material to real world applications. In our classrooms, technology is extremely limited if present and we would love to have the chance to create our future scientists through engaging games and problem solving applications. Differentiating their learning between reading, visuals, and manipulatives will allow us to meet each individual student where they are at.
