I teach approximately 65 seventh grade students in a rural area in North Carolina. Most of these students do not get a chance to leave their hometown or experience much cultural change. My school is a public school with over half of the students receiving Free or Reduced Lunch. They are very creative and have a natural curiosity to explore the world around them but need the proper equipment to do so.
