Students need choice of seating and conventional chairs and seats do not enhance their learning mode. The environment is so that they can be comfortable and learn to the best of their ability without barriers. They will be able to use bean bag chairs and carpet as choice seats during independent working time and the smaller carpet for instructional time. Regular seats make it difficult for them to learn. They need alternatives. The students learn best with different materials better suited for their needs and abilities. With these materials my students will be able to choose where they seat and have many options, such as a bean bag or a stool. I will be able to do social-emotional behavioral learning in a comfortable area and engage my students.
