Space DNA allows students to design and conduct multiple real world molecular biology experiments using miniPCR and gel electrophoresis equipment in our classroom to compete in the annual Genes in Space competition. My student scientists will be able to study an area of research that interests them regarding DNA in space. With this opportunity, my student scientists have the chance to have their curiosity become a reality by having their miniPCR experiment be conducted by the astronauts on the International Space Station. Please help to spark hope and innovation for all of my student scientists and the future of humankind!
