By providing flexible seating, such as balls, wiggle cushions and floor seats, I can offer students opportunities to learn in a way that best suits their learning style. Focused students become engaged students, and engaged students will achieve academically. The products I have chosen will offer students various seating options and allow them to make choices that will enhance their learning. Many students struggle to sit and learn in the traditional desk and chair arrangement because of the lack of movement they provide. Providing comfortable seating, that allows for some movement, can be just the thing needed to improve a child's focus, attention and capacity to learn.
