One of the most basic necessities for every classroom is a whiteboard. Unfortunately, my classroom does not have one. This puts my students at an extreme disadvantage in the classroom. Quite often they do not hear or understand directions the first time they are given. Also, they often forget valuable information that they have been previously taught. This often results in a lot of "time off task" that my students can not afford to spare. The whiteboard will be placed in a very visible spot in the classroom. It will contain student assignment information which students can refer to in an instant. There will also be notes available to help students remember important information and directions.
