Many students in kindergarten are challenged to be able to sit up and build their core strength and sit still on the carpet. Rather than moving to a full-size chair and feeling isolated, I would like them to be able to remain on the carpet with the rest of the class and to have the option for back support! When a student is isolated, it can be seen as a punishment, and by providing flexible seating on the rug, it can be viewed as empowerment! Not only will it help with focus, but it is also better for their physical development!

About my class
