Middle school students are creative and enjoy taking creative risks. Our public charter school challenges students with art, dance, and music as a rotation for everyone, as well as the arts that support curriculum in each classroom. For the gorgeous project pictured as a thumbnail, students worked tirelessly and collaboratively for three and one-half school days on the five foot square piece! Each student's ideas were honored and represented in this wall sculpture that will grace our school's walls for many years to come. They take great pride in the perseverance needed to complete such a complex task. As a matter of fact, it and two other sculptures are being shown in an art show this week! Their work represents the best in each of them as individuals and as a team.
