With my students being in 8th grade in an urban area, I had to think about what I could do in order to get them interested in reading. When I thought of novels, Twilight came to mind. It is interesting and keeps the students engaged and wanting to read more. I am in need of a large class set of 35 copies of Twilight due to large class sizes. I want my students to be able to have interesting things to read in my classroom. Enjoying reading is something I want to convey to my students which is why I want to share the Twilight novel with them. Without these books, we will be forced to use the same old novels which have been read year after year with boredom. Please help my students get excited about reading just as I am excited about sharing this amazing novel with them.
