Often times it can be a challenge teaching students with very specific needs. Especially if those needs have not yet been highlighted. Sometimes it takes the teacher to go back to ground zero to figure out how to teach a new student. Especially, in a new environment. Picture this: being a new student, in a new class, with a new faces, at a new school, and new teachers. Now imagine this when you don't do well with transition and you have to learn new content in top of that. That can be pretty stressful. It is my goal to help bridge the akward gap for our students. I want to give them an environment where they are comfortable to be themselves and learn. We use programs such as Starfall, ABC Mouse, and Math prodigy to help our kids learn in an interactive way of learning.
